What an amazing day at Downtown Santa Barbara where we took this awesome engagement photography session when we ended the entire photo shoot at Stearns Wharf – Santa Barbara Sunset time.
Cesiah and David were a great couple to work with as they held their wedding at Rockwood Women’s Club in Santa Barbara. Their preparation for their special moment really paid off as the stunning couple had a traditional ceremony. With the support of family and friends, everyone was happy for them as they finally said “I do”.

The clock was ticking down as both the bride and groom got ready for the day ahead of them. With makeup and hair done, Cesiah stood beautifully alongside her 5 bridesmaids that were dressed in romantic purple dresses. David tied his shoes, put on his bowtie, and fixed his cuffs before posing with his groomsmen. Adding swords into the picture, I found it to be very unique. With his armed knights behind him, this prince soon made his way to the altar to claim his princess as his new queen.
The ceremony was beautiful and full of emotions. Preceded by two adorable flower girls, Cesiah certainly brought a smile to David’s face as he watched her walk proudly towards him. Her father was noticeably moved as he handed over his daughter to her future husband and as the ceremony progressed, other family and friends seemed to be as well. As they shared their first kiss as a married couple before heading for their wedding pictures, this gorgeous couple couldn’t have been happier.

Linda and Patrick had such a wonderful wedding that I just couldn’t leave anything out – so I hope you guys have your reading glasses on since you don’t want to miss out on any of this one! Grab some munchies, get comfortable, and enjoy!
With unique lodges that had a cabin feel to them, open fields, and a mountain range; it was definitely a wedding full of nature and rustic romance. There have been several weddings during my career that I have thought of as the best wedding, but as I attended this one, I knew that it topped them all. It wasn’t only due to the beautiful location, but also because the bride took the details to a new level. Preparing everything by herself – the favors, charts, guest book, seating numbers, and other items – she made this wedding outstanding. Everything fit together beautifully and I found myself in awe throughout the whole day.
Linda and Patrick had met through their friend Bobby in June 2005. Bobby had been a previous client of mine and even though they didn’t know at the time, he would be very influential in their choice of a wedding photographer since as they saw his pictures, they knew immediately that they wanted me as well. As they met on June 2005 at an Irish bar, the spark in their relationship was quick to ignite. Talking and joking throughout the night, they felt drawn to each other and spent the next few days going out together. Going to the movies and out to dinner, they remember the fond memories of enjoying their time just staring at each other. With a relationship built on honesty and the ability to work through the good and the bad times, they are able to rely on each other; making their relationship stronger as the years go by. With humor as a large part of who they are, they always find a way to make each other laugh. Flaws are a part of everyone and this couple embraces them since they are what makes them who they are. Happy, in love, and having a strong relationship – this couple already sounds like their futures are solidly matched with each other.
For a loving couple like Linda and Patrick, their wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect for them. Having the ceremony in a field with the mountain landscape behind them, the scene was picturesque. Their humor not being far from them as they found ways to laugh during the ceremony, it couldn’t have been any prettier. With the environment allowing for stunning pictures and a beautiful backdrop for their love, I felt at easy in the serenity of it all. The reception was just as gorgeous. With the open night sky filled with stars and twinkling lights overhead, it was truly remarkable. As the guests danced in the open air, the atmosphere was fun and inviting to everyone. Everything was perfect and with the strong start they already had – I was sure there would be a future full of their laughter.
