Wow, just wow! Those were the only thoughts that I was able to formulate as I worked with a couple named Liz and Will. Now these two looked absolutely stunning in the outfits that they chose for their engagement session at Union Station and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. But there was also something even more astounding – the level of love that they shared! These two loved to be close and the intense way that they shared time together was just phenomenal. They were like two magnets being drawn together and you could almost see the spark between them as their smiles lit their faces.
Liz and Will were always tender and affectionate. You could tell that they cared a lot for each other. Whether it was walking around Union Station, sitting in the stunning waiting area found there, or walking around the shining building and courtyard of the Walt Disney Concert Hall, love followed them everywhere that they went. With Will growing up in Lancaster, CA and Liz coming from Manila in the Philippines, fate had declared that these two would have to find a way to meet – and meet they did! Both working in the medical field, they ended up working at the same hospital. Will was an x-ray/CT technician and Liz was a RN. Bumping into each other whenever they had to work in the same area of the hospital, they soon began to get to know more about each other. Finding out that they had a lot in common through their love of adventure, travel, God, and trying new things like adventurous activities, it wasn’t long before their hearts were whispering the words of love.
Being together for 2 years now, Liz and Will have had plenty of time to connect on many levels. Having a great time going hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing, surfing, cliff diving, and trying new cuisine, these two love to keep their relationship lively. They just fit together so well! But let me tell you about how these two finally became engaged. Planning a surprise engagement that was like a reenactment of their first date but with a twist, Will took Liz to a restaurant called Takami. Giving her flowers in the car, it was a sweet gesture to start off the evening. Planning for a fine dining experience, Will had made up a specialized menu for dinner and dessert. As they enjoyed a dinner together, the dessert portion was about to begin. Reading the menu, something caught Liz’s eye. There was an option of chocolate decadent cake with engagement ring written on the menu. After she read that, a waiter came out with the cake and ring. When it reached the table, Will proposed to Liz and she of course said yes! Watching them as we enjoyed their celebration of it, you could definitely see their passionate side and the excitement that lingered from that very special moment in their lives. They were wonderful!
