“My Everything” ~ Alicia & Justin | Santa Monica Engagement Session – Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

On the day of the shoot, we started in a small garden in Santa Monica area. The classy couple added a hint of sophistication to the scene, don’t you think? They brought their dog, Sadie, with them and as you can probably tell, they were both dog lovers which I thought was so cute. Happy in each other eyes with the little dog by their side, Alicia and Justin seemed to be a real family to me.

We then headed to the beach at Santa Monica. It was a beautiful day for their engagement session at the Santa Monica Pier. Fedora hat, bow tie, pearls and bright red lips all reminded me of the romance and elegance in the old time movies. Vintage yet playful, the couple had the greatest chemistry together. Lying on the beach in their lovers’ arms, smiling and kissing each other, their affection beamed at me, even brighter than the sun. We also headed up to the pier. The moment that they shared together at the ferris wheel seemed timeless and perfect. It was a great day that I shared with them as their photographer. With that said, without further ado, here I present to you the engagement photos of Alicia and Justin.

Francesca & Andrea :: Milan, Italy Couple Portrait Session | Destination Engagement & Wedding Photographer

So I knew Francesca and Andreas through Letizia and Tim who were a couple I worked with for their engagement photos while I was in Paris. Francesca and Andreas live in Milan where it happens to be a stop on my tour map (i chose Milan over Rome mainly because I wanted to see San Siro ^_^), and I’m so glad that I visited. After they’ve seen my work displayed on my website, they became very excited about the photoshoot. Even though the shoot was scheduled the day after their return from Barcelona, the couple got up bright and shiny in the morning to accommodate the session, I was really grateful for that.

The photo session was taken at the Duomo di Milano and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. They were a gorgeous couple and blended right into the elegance of Milan. Their love radiated and easily became the center of focus. I didn’t have to teach them how to pose much at all because this was all natural to them. Every kiss, hug and stare was gravitational and they can’t seem to see anyone else in the world but each other. Haha, I even felt a little shy in front of them. They were animated, beautiful and picture perfect.

It truly is a privilege of mine to work at my job. Not only I get to tour around the world for work, but most importantly, I get to work with wonderful clients like these two and capture their moments of happiness. “Do what you love. Love what you do.” Moments like these remind me why I am a wedding photographer and love being one.

The Katinas presents LOL With the FAM

Since I saw them 3 years ago at Harvest Crusade 2009, I can’t stop listening to their songs every single day. They live in Nashville – TN now so whenever they are in town (Greater Los Angeles area) to lead worship at local churches, I definitely in the front row ready to worship the Lord with them.

Trash The Dress Session ~ Melinda + Tim :: Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

They are just one of a kind – not many couples would do “trash the dress” session but not them. I’m so glad that I got to work with Melinda and Tim, who are so amazingly in love. They were perfect for each other and Melinda is one of the happiest brides I’ve worked with. They really just light me up.
The day on Crystal Cove beach we had great weather and everything else just went so smoothly and spontaneously. It wasn’t so long ago when I worked with the two of them for their engagement photos and right at the very same spot, I shot the two of them doing the same pose. Did you spot the difference? Now what about the similarity? To me, it was the just the spark between them. When you have found “the one”, you probably won’t notice what has changed around you because all you will see is each other.
We all have that ONE person that we always have feelings for no matter what. Just one look, and it takes you right back to that moment. Thanks for the wonderful day and congratulations!
